TAN SRI DATO' MUHAMMAD ALI HASHIM 
Chairman
Tan Sri Dato’ Muhammad Ali bin Hashim, aged 63, is the President/Group Chief Executive of JCorp and was appointed to the Board of TLP on 16th October 1997.

He graduated from the University of Malaya with Bachelor of Economics (Honours) degree in 1969 and had participated in the Senior Executive Programme, Stanford University, United States of America in 1985. He was conferred the Honorary Doctorate of Management by Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in 2000. In 2007, he was conferred the Honorary Doctorate of Entrepreneurship, by Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) and the Honorary Doctorate of Technology Management from Universiti Tun Hussein Onn.

He was named the “Entrepreneur of the Year Award” by the Rotary Club of Johor Bahru in 1994 and also the “Director of the Year for 1995” by the Malaysian Institute of Directors for his commitment towards quality, entrepreneurial effort and professionalism. He was also named as the “Property CEO of the Year 2005” by the International Real Estate Federation (FIABCI - Malaysia).
In 2006, he was awarded the “World Halal Forum Best Corporate Social Responsibility Program Award 2006” by YAB Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, the Prime Minister of Malaysia. Consecutively, in 2007, he was conferred the prestigious Maal Hijrah 1428H Appreciation Award by Duli Yang Maha Mulia Seri Paduka Baginda Yang Di Pertuan Agong.

Currently, he sits as the Chairman of Kulim (Malaysia) Berhad, QSR Brands Berhad, KFC Holdings Berhad, KPJ Healthcare Berhad, Johor Land Berhad, Sindora Berhad and Damansara Realty Berhad, which are JCorp’s subsidiaries listed on the Main board of the Bursa Malaysia. He is also active as the Council Member of Malaysian Industrial Development Authority (MIDA), the President of Johor Football Association, President Of Malaysian Kite Council, Vice President Of Malaysian Islamic Chamber Of Commerce, Chairman Of Corporate Bureau Committee Of Malaysian Islamic Chamber Of Commerce and Chairman of Kumpulan Waqaf An-Nur Berhad, a charitable institution extending healthcare services to the poor and needy.
  
YUSOF RAHMAT

Yusof Bin Rahmat, aged 52, was appointed to the Board of TLP on 7 May 2009. He graduated with Bachelor of Civil Engineering (Honours) from the University of Sheffield, United Kingdom in 1980 before joining Johor Corporation in the same year. He has held various positions in subsidiary companies within the Corporation. In January 1997, he was appointed as the Chief Executive of the Project Development Division, Johor Corporation. He was appointed as the Managing Director of TPM Technopark Sdn Bhd, a company within the Johor Corporation Group since January 2002.
  
MAZLAN OTHMAN
Managing Director
 
Mazlan Bin Othman, aged 52, was appointed to the board of TLP on 1st January 2008.  He is currently  the Managing Director of  TLPSB.

He graduated from Universiti Teknologi Mara in 1982 after passing the Chartered Institute of Transport (UK) examinations and admitted as a corporate member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (UK) in 1985. He also holds a Master in Business Administration (MBA-International Trade) from the University of Birmingham, United Kingdom since 1991.

He has worked in Logistics and Port’s industry environment for the past 25 years. He started his career in Klang Port Authority in 1982 as Traffic Officer for a year and then subsequently in Johor Port Authority (as Administrative Officer and various positions up to level of General Manager) for 17 years (1983-2000). Johor Port Authority was eventually privatized as Johor Port Sdn Bhd in 1993 and a few years later listed as Johor Port Berhad.
Prior to joining TLP as General Manager in 2002, he was with Bernas Logistic Sdn Bhd; in charge of its Johor/ Melaka branch for year 2001. Currently, he is also the Chairman of Great Allied Engineering Sdn Bhd as well as a Director of Langsat Bulkers Sdn Bhd and Johor Logistic Sdn Bhd.

In respect of community works, currently he is the Vice President 1 of the Johor Yachting Association and Honorary Treasurer of the Malaysian Yachting Association.
  
KAMARUZZAMAN ABU KASSIM

Kamaruzzaman bin Abu Kassim, aged 46, was appointed to the Board of TLP on 15 August 2006. He is the Senior Vice President, of Finance and Corporate Services of JCorp and Managing Director of Damansara Realty Berhad.

He graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accountancy from the University of Wollongong, New South Wales, Australia in 1987. He embarked on his career as an Audit Assistant with Messrs K.E Chen & Associates in May 1988 and later joined Coopers & Lybrand (currently known as PricewaterhouseCoopers) in Johor Bahru.


In December 1992, he left the firm and joined Perbadanan Kemajuan Ekonomi Negeri Johor (currently known as JCorp) as a Deputy Manager, Corporate Finance Department. He left JCorp in 1999 to join Damansara Realty Berhad as the Executive Director until August 2006.

He is currently a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of KPJ Healthcare Berhad and Kulim (Malaysia) Berhad . He is also a Chairman and Director of several other companies within the JCorp group of companies.
  
A.F.M SHAFIQUL HAFIZ
Director
A.F.M Shafiqul Hafiz, aged 62, a Bangladeshi and Malaysian Permanent Resident, was appointed to the Board of TLP on 1st January 2009. Mr Shafiqul graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree majoring in Civil Engineering from East Pakistan University of Engineering and Technology, Dhaka in 1967. He also holds a Master of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Middle East Technical University of Ankara, Turkey which he obtained in 1971. He is also registered with the Institute of Engineers, Australia, as a Chartered Professional Engineer.

In 1992, he attended a Senior Management Program on Public Enterprise at Harvard, USA. He has been a Vice Chairman of International Real Estate Federation (FIABCI) Malaysian Chapter since 2008. He has also been elected as Vice President by FIABCI International for its Asia Pacific Regional Committee for the term 2007 till 2009. He began his career as an Engineer in Dhaka, East Pakistan in 1968. His career in Malaysia dated back to 1974 when he joined Public Works Department of Malaysia as a Project Engineer.
Later he joined Johor Corporation in 1983 and has held various positions within the Group and appointed as the Managing Director of JLand in 1988 and as the Chief Executive of the Property Development Division of Johor Corporation in 1991. Currently,  he is the Managing Director  of Puteri Hotels Sdn Bhd and Chief Executive of Hospitality Business Division .  He is also Chairman and Director of several other companies within the Johor Corporation Group.
  
DATO' YAHYA BIN HJ A. GHANI

Dato’ Yahya Hj A. Ghani, aged 69 was appointed to the board of TLP on 1st December 2000.

He graduated with a Degree in Civil Engineering from University of Bolton, United Kingdom in 1966. He was a Civil Engineer with the Public Works Department prior to his secondment to the Ministry Of Transportation as a Civil Engineer in 1969 until 1973.

In 1970, he attended a six months shipping engineering course with International Cooperation Agency in Tokyo, Japan.
Then in 1988, he attended an international course in Public Industrial Policy and Management for two months in Harvard University, United States of America.

His career in the shipping operations sector began in May 1973 when he was appointed as the General Manager of Johor Port Authority (before incorporation as Johor Port Berhad in 1993) until 1992. When Johor Port Authority was incorporated and privatized as Johor Port Berhad, he was appointed as the Managing Director from 1st January 1993 until retirement in 1998.
  
 LUKMAN BIN ABU BAKAR

Lukman bin Abu Bakar, aged 51, was appointed to the Board of TLP on 1 March 2006.

He graduated with a Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning from the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in 1982 before joining JCorp as a Town Planning Officer in the same year. He also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in (Housing, Building and Planning) from the Institute for Housing Studies, Rotterdam, and Holland.


He has held various positions in the subsidiary companies. He was the Deputy Manager of JCorp in 1989 and was appointed as a Manager in 1992 as well as the Deputy Secretary of Pasir Gudang Local Authority.

On 1 September 1993, he was appointed as the Deputy General Manager (Down Stream Processing Division) of Sindora Berhad. He was promoted to the position of General Manager of Sindora Berhad in 1995. Currently, he is the Senior Vice President of JCorp. He is currently Managing Director  of Johor Land Berhad. He is also a Chairman and Director of several other companies within the JCorp group of companies.
  
DATO' IR ABD HAK BIN MD AMIN
Director

 Dato’ Ir Abd Hak Bin Md Amin, a Malaysian, aged 55, was appointed to the Board of TLP on6 October 2009.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering and a Master of Science in Project Engineering from the University of Lancaster, United Kingdom and a Diploma in Ship Survey from Det Norske Veritas (DNV), Oslo, Norway. He also holds a Certificate of Competency as a Foreign Going Marine Engineer and registered as a Practising Engineer with the Board of Engineers, Malaysia.

He started his career as a Marine Engineer with Malaysian International Shipping Corporation (MISC) in 1977 prior to becoming a Project Manager with Malaysian Fisheries Development Authority in 1980. He became Mill Manager of Sime Darby Plantation in 1981. From 1983 – 1989, he worked for DNV Johor Bahru. In 1990 he became the Managing Director of Det Norske Veritas Sdn Bhd, a position he held until 2002. Currently, he is the managing director of E.A. Technique (M) Sdn Bhd, a company that he set up in 1993, primarily as owner and manager of oil tankers and offshore support vessels. He is a shareholder of E.A. Technique (M) Sdn Bhd.
