SAFETY, HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENT POLICY

Tanjung Langsat Port Sdn Bhd believes that Safety, Health and Environment are important and integral part of our company's management and operation activities. We are committed to foster a strong safety and health culture with a high level of environmental awareness as one of the core values of our company.

The implementation of this policy shall include the following :

1. Maintaining a structured management system based on requirement on OHSAS 18001,
2. Complying with all legal and other requirements,
3. Prevention of accidents and incidents at work place,
4. Prevention of pollution at work place,
5. Striving for continual improvement, and
6. Providing the necessary resources in pursuing this objectives.

Employees at all levels and other related parties will be trained and instructed in good safety and health practices and encouraged to actively participate in creating and maintaining safe and healthy working environment.

This policy shall be communicated to all employees and shall be made available to related parties.

SAFETY, HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENT POLICY

Tanjung Langsat Port Sdn Bhd believes that Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) are important and integral part of our company's management and operation activities.

We believed that all SHE incidents including injuries, environmental damage and occupational illness are preventable.  Our goal is zero SHE incidents.

We shall promote SHE best practices to ensure that the works performed are in accordance with appropriate legal requirements, codes of practice and construction industry standards.

We shall develop, maintain and continuously review our Emergency Preparedness.

We are committed to provide necessary resources, organization, system and training to ensure a competent and informed workfore on all SHE matters pertaining to our work activities.

We will continuously work towards effective communication with our employees, contractors, suppliers and the public with regard to appropriate matter to SHE.

We shall set targets for performance standards in SHE and develop a system to monitor, record, assess, control, manage and review their continued progress.

We shall continuously study our systems and where current prctices need to be reviewed in light of lesson learnt experience, incident investigations and such like we are committed to correct such practices.

We expect all our employees and contractors to strictly adhere to our SHE policy at all times.
